Q&A: What are the acupuncture points for back and neck pain ?
Question by : What are the acupuncture factors for back and neck pain ?
My husband is becoming treated for back and neck ache with acupuncture. I see that the needles are positioned all more than his back at typical 1 inch intervals .. I believed that acupuncture needles have been inserted along specific meridians instead than inserted above the total back. Can anyone enlighten me ? Now I wonder if the practitioner is a licensed acupuncturist - he came just on the recommendation of a buddy. A lot of thanks

Hi There,
Alleviate neck ache by discovering a strain point in your neck and shoulder area. This point is located by moving your finger from your shoulder towards your neck until finally you attain a depression. Apply stress to this point and turn your head to see if you feel relief. This point is also valuable for treating headaches, dizziness, shoulder tension and pressure.
Uncover yet another pressure point on your hand for added relief, or if you do not really feel relief from the first pressure point. This point is situated on the outdoors of your hand just under your pinky finger. Run your finger up the outside of your hand until finally you really feel a depression, which is exactly where this point is found. Pressure applied to this point eases neck ache and treats headaches, earaches and ringing in the ears.
