So now the safety of these devices are suspect.

But that aside, As long as it is clean and in decent repair I don't see why not. You should also try Kijiji and Craigslist. You might get a better price.

I think the biggest achievement in alt med is getting people to focus less on going to the doctors to treat their problems and more on self-treatment and prevention.
Of course, now we're getting lemmings who just go along with any alt med news they hear, and some die from inadequate treatment, but maybe eventually we'll reach a happy medium...
